This is a handmade 95% silver ring. We used 0.8mm thick silver strip to make the base of the cylinder which is also textured with the so-called “cat fur” etching pattern on the surface, giving the artefact its typical handmade feel that caraterizes most of our items.
Three thin silver wire loops are soldered on the base of the ring to complete the final design. We stamped our logo “Stories” on the inside of the base ring.
The ring is very simple and modern, with obvious handmade manufacturing feel, but sleek and contemporary in its design. It is very lightweight and suitable for everyday wear, for both men and women.
We can make it and have it shipped in about 2-3 weeks after ordering. PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO TELL US THE SIZE WHEN ORDERING. We usually make sizes 5 – 10, for sizes bigger than 10 please contact us before.
Our products are hand crafted in 95-98% Silver by Thai Karen hill-tribe artisans. The Karen are a group of ethnic peoples who reside primarily in southern and southeastern Burma and in northern and north-eastern Thailand. Thai and Burmese hill tribes can be traced back to the 12th century when they are said to have originated from Tibet.
With a higher silver content than sterling silver, Karen silver has a weight, bright satin color and feel, all of its own. Every piece is handmade and individual.
The product comes in a handwoven bamboo-fiber box, a traditional Thai packaging that also makes it a lovely gift or just jewelry storage. It includes tracking number for safer shipping.
